It benefits from a Neural Network Processor (NPU) that runs Machine Learning (ML) inference in a high-efficiency manner, and the NPU is optimised for handling neural networks, bringing artificial intelligence (AI) from the cloud to local devices. It supports Debian and Android OS.

Tinker Edge R can perform up to 3 TOPS (tera-operations per second) with the built-in Rockchip NPU AI accelerator, using only 1.5 watts at maximum loading. The integrated NPU provides high-performance ML inferencing.
