Sphero’s Computer Science Foundations (CSF) Course is a supplemental, standards-aligned curriculum designed to be taught in the classroom alongside Sphero robots. CSF teaches STEAM principles through computer science over three 24-lesson courses. Each cross-curricular lesson builds on the previous one and gives teachers the tools to teach computer science confidently and students the fundamentals of computer science.

Sphero’s Computer Science Foundations (CSF) Course is built on the K12 Computer Science Framework Principles and is aligned to various national and international standards, including the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) standards and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Both teachers and students will learn
The course features everything needed to give teachers the tools to teach computer science with confidence while students learn the fundamentals. Both teachers and students will learn to code together fostering healthy class culture and modelling growth mindsets

It’s not a pre-requisite that teachers or students must be experts to complete the CSF course. Whether your students are young, budding engineers who are new to coding or seasoned programmers, the Sphero CSF Course is an entry point into problem-solving through programming.
