Description

The M5Stack Earth Unit is a soil moisture sensor for measuring the humidity level in soil and similar materials. The Unit is easy to use due to its exposed pads that function as probes for the sensor and a variable resistor. The higher the moisture level in the soil, the better the connectivity between the Unit’s pads, ensuring the sensor has lower resistance and a higher SIG out. The electrode of this soil moisture unit is not waterproof and not anti-corrosive, therefore is not intended for prolonged use in humid environments.

Instructions: The Unit electrode is not anti-corrosive or waterproof; therefore, it is not suitable for prolonged use in humid environments. You can read the level of moisture in the soil by using the ADC. There are additional potentiometers inside this Unit that allow changing the measurement range.
