Key benefits of the ROCK 3 Compute Module SODIMM (CM3S)

The ROCK 3 Compute Module SODIMM (CM3S) will truly accelerate your product development! It packs a punch with its powerful System on Module (SoM), all while being super tiny. It offers an out-of-the-box, cost-effective solution for countless applications. Alternatively, you can speed up the prototype production process by creating a basic carrier board and you’ll be ready to ROCK in no time.

Speed up your product development
It’s the ideal SoM for product development. While it offers a cost-effective, out-of-the-box solution for a huge range of applications, you can speed up the product development process with a simple carrier board (a 2-layer baseboard is sufficient to provide access to all of the functions of the SoM), and voila! You can engineer solutions such as robotics, HMI, vending machines, smart home applications, IoT gateways, industrial control solutions, and more.

A low-power solution with a compact form factor
The ROCK CM3S is powered by the reliable Rockchip RK3566 SoC and benefits from a 64-bit Quad Cortex A55 low-power core with up to 1.6 GHz. On top of that, it features an industry-standard compliant 200pin golden finger edge connector (DDR2 SODIMM form factor) and with a form factor of just 32mm x 67.6mm, it’s a powerful little device that truly packs a punch!

More OS, more options
ROCK CM3S is super practical, as it is compatible with multiple operating systems, including Ubuntu 20.04, Debian 10, Buildroot, YOCTO, and Android 11/12. Whether you’re a Debian devotee, an Android aficionado, or an Ubuntu buff, you’ll find that the ROCK CM3S is a practical solution for your needs.
