About The Role

In this role, report to the Global Marketing Manager and you’ll primarily be responsible for supporting OKdo’s B2B marketing activities. This includes generating ideas, writing copy and working with various internal stakeholders to support lead generation activities for our global sales teams. You will also be working with external agencies to increase brand awareness, generate thought leadership and gain market insights.

What you’ll be accountable for:

  • Work with OKdo’s global sales team and their customers to create inspiring content such as case studies to help promote our products and services.
  • Manage a range of external agencies, these include our Account-Based Marketing (ABM) partner, our lead generation partner, our content provider, our social selling agency and a range of brand awareness partners.
  • Work with internal stakeholders such as our website, design, and social media teams to share ideas and content to target new customers and nurture existing leads via our website.
  • Work with our sales team to create brochures/collateral and understand potential sponsorship opportunities OKdo could be part of to support their customers and brand awareness within new markets.
  • Organise global events, managing everything from team attendance, stand design, product demos and marketing awareness to ensure a successful event.
  • Write and send newsletters to nurture and convert leads for our sales team.
  • Manage the B2B marketing budget – ensuring ROI is proven and all spend is optimised.
  • Work with the Allied Marketing team to promote SBC products in North America through their audience (via social media, newsletters, display adverts etc.)
  • Work with the RS marketing team in EMEA and APAC to promote SBC products through their audiences.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Analysing and reporting performance of all B2B marketing campaigns, making recommendations and how performance can be improved.
  • Training the sales team on new tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the OKdo social selling platform.

You will be responsible for supporting the sales team to achieve their annual sales targets.

You will support the sales team gain new business and work with new customers.

Product Content Executive

Role Purpose

The purpose of the NPI executive is to support & deliver best in class product content for our customers, primarily for the new product, software and services pipeline into OKdo global websites. We are looking for someone to join who is passionate about customer centric content and can help OKdo navigate the ever-changing content landscape and support our ambitious growth plans across our digital estate.

Role holder will be supporting the Global SEO and Digital Experience Manager to drive measurable results to improve the effectiveness of the NPI process and the timely delivery of products, services and software to market, via the OKdo store fronts, RS storefronts and the marketplaces.

 Key Deliverables

  • Coordinates with the category managers to plan the timely introduction of NPI based on category strategic requirements.
  • Maintains the overarching plan for NPI introductions to provide visibility across the business
  • Researches and writes content for all group sites, where applicable, under the guidance of the Global SEO and Customer experience manager
  • Gathers content for the enrichment of existing product catalogue to optimise SEO rankings and drive on page conversion improvements
  • Loads data sheets, images, videos and PDF documents for all applicable products
  • Coordinates the setup of Drop Ship trial products and resulting range launches
  • Supports the data load for all marketplace sites as part of NPI

Skills Required

  • Experience working in a digital content role at an agency / in-house 
  • Experience of the digital marketing landscape with experience of SEO
  • Experienced in writing web copy for a B2B and B2C audience
  • Experience carrying out tasks, such as, keyword research, on-page optimisation and analytics reviews
  • Experience working as part of a digital marketing team 
  • Be able to use standard reporting tools like Google Analytics to analyse website’s performance
  • You’ll keep up to date with industry changes and actively read blogs to further your knowledge
  • Being comfortable working around HTML is a bonus
  • Experience in content marketing and how it can earn backlinks
  • Experience getting hands-on with websites to make changes such as editing copy, uploading meta data or fixing problems

Role Purpose

To provide a best in class customer service experience to OKdo customers by demonstrating and driving a high-performance culture managing a portfolio of global customer accounts. To process export customer orders paying close attention promptly and efficiently to compliance regulatory requirements that will ensure goods can be shipped in a timely and efficient manner to a global customer base. To manage our 3PL in all aspects of continuous improvement, being the link between OKdo & 3PL for both supply chain and export/domestic logistics. The right person must be comfortable in a fast pace, global and dynamic environment, energetic and be experienced in handling and processing customer export orders, as well as some experience managing a 3PL and awareness of continuous improvement methodologies.

Export and sales co-ordination

  • Establish and build strong relationships with OKdo export customers across multiple global territories
  • Work with customers in all relevant global markets to understand local export compliance, regulatory and customs requirements
  • Process all customer OKdo export orders promptly, accurately and efficiently running trade compliance checks through Amber Road where appropriate.
  • Checking stock availability in ERP system, informing customer of expected shipment date, maintaining close contact with the customer at all stages of order processing
  • Resolve customer enquiries on export order delivery status
  • Build knowledge by attending appropriate Export awareness courses

3PL + Logistics Management

  • Work closely with 3PL distribution partner to ensure shipments to all export customers have customs and import documentation appropriate to the country of ultimate destination (sales invoice, certificate of origin etc.)
  • Establish and maintain close working relationship with OKdo Supply Chain, Sales, Finance and Customer Services teams
  • Work with 3PL partner and freight forwarding companies to resolve any documentation queries on delayed/held shipments/short shipments and incorrect allocation of stock

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive a program of prioritised, continuous process improvement internally and externally with our 3PL, with customer experience, and operating costs in mind, for our B2B customer set in particular
  • Identify inconsistencies where processes are impacting customer experience.
  • Standardise documentation for function consistency and brand goals.

  • Trade Compliance knowledge (Amber Road)

About the Role

The OKdo product & technology team is responsible for creating and delivering the global product & services strategy. In line with our strategy, we continue to develop our technology proposition, inhouse engineering capability and line card based on market trends and customer demand. The Global Application Engineer will Support the Segment leads on deep technical topics including technical product evaluation of NPI products, testing & failure analysis, PCB customisation support and technical supplier and customer engagement reporting into the Head of Technology Partnerships, OKdo.

Key Accountabilities

Sales and Marketing support

  • Support the sales team with technical queries and architectural propositions that arise from existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide technical support to customers using OKdo products where first line support may not have the answer.  Train the first line support team where necessary to answer future similar questions.
  • Building the technical proposition and solutions for our customer engagements.
  • Support customer meetings throughout the entire sales process, from opportunity identification to post sales and maintenance.  This includes, but not limited to, responding to  RFPs, creating customer presentations, training, liaise on custom projects between customer and design/manufacturing teams.
  • Create technical material that will help drive a technical audience to OKdo, assisted by the marketing content team.
  • Assist marketing team with technical content including text and physical products.
  • Support the OKdo team with and at industry trade show events and partner tech demos.
  • Assist with project and technical collateral creation.
  • Support community content creation and answer generic questions.

New product creation and customisation

  • Support the Sales team with customised product design services, and manufacturing projects.
  • Support the Global Category managers on technical topics including technical evaluation of NPI products, failure analysis and testing.
  • Convey the customer requirements back to the Global Category Managers to guide with roadmap and product onboarding.
  • Assist with product design and optimisation that will help secure OKdo product design-in at scale.
  • Provide technical engineering skills and customer understanding within the engineering team to help develop products and solutions.
  • Build knowledge bases on our products, FAQs, product collateral etc.

Essential skills:

Sales and marketing support

  • Able to understand a customer’s needs and document the requirements.
  • Experience in end-to-end management of design cycle from product design, prototype, production to Go to market.
  • Ability to communicate with people through all levels across the organisation to explain technical topics.

New product creation and customisation

  • Proven track record of developing electronics products.
  • Strong understanding of schematics and how they relate to Gerbers and PCB.
  • Experience of test and debugging of electronic products.
  • Experience of embedded software languages including C/C++, Python.
  • Detailed knowledge of the leading microcontroller and processor types and emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance testing.
