Based on the L298 (datasheet), this advanced Arduino Motor Shield is a dual full-bridge driver specially developed to handle inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors. So now you can drive two DC motors with your Arduino board whilst managing the direction and speed of each independently. Better still, this module also lets you measure the current absorption of each motor – plus a host of other useful things.
