Give your project the power to read 1D striped barcodes with this neat little scanner. Rather than the usual scanning mirror, Adafruit’s Barcode Reader/Scanner Module features an integral camera. Taking 100 snaps per second, the use of a camera dramatically reduces the chances of the module becoming damaged or misaligned.
The device comes complete with a handy USB cable to make it easy to link to a PC, BeagleBone or Raspberry Pi.
