    It works but took a little experimenting as mine has both the rs232 and the ttl rx an tx reversed.
    On ttl side:
    Connect tx to tx and rx to rx.
    On rs232 side:
    Rx on DE9 pin 3 and
    Tx on DE9 pin 2
    Ground on pin 5
