The HaloCode Standard Kit from Makeblock is a wireless single-board computer designed to introduce students to programming and coding.
Through Makeblock’s mBlock programming software, students can learn coding logic through an intuitive and straightforward block-based method. The simplified process leaves more room for student creativity and intuition to flourish as they learn.
Students can easily connect the HaloCode to the internet and explore simple IoT projects and LAN functionality applications with built-in Wi-Fi modules. They can easily create smart devices platforms, such as remote controlling of home appliances.
Having a built-in microphone, Halocode is perfect for projects that aim to detect voice. Its cloud storage and Wi-Fi features give students the freedom to create unique projects based on speech recognition. Whether making a voice interaction toy or setting up a voice-controlled smart home, HaloCode is exactly what you are looking for.
The HaloCode board has a diameter of 45mm. Despite its compact size, it is embedded with various sensors that allow it to be programmed to respond to touch and movement, 12 programmable RGB LEDs and others.
Students can use these elements to build various projects, such as an interactive rainbow lamp, motion-sensing games, and even make themselves motion-tracking wristbands.
In mBlock 5, you can switch to Python coding with just one click. Python code changes in sync with the coding blocks in real-time. It helps students see what their programs look like in Python mode. It also satisfies teachers’ needs for advanced coding teaching. Of course, students can write code directly in mBlock 5’s Python editor.
With mBlock 5, students can program engaging projects. For example, they can design puzzle games or, using simple materials, they can create unique animations, games and stories.
Students can see how their code works exactly in real life and how they can benefit from coding in actual setups. It helps them develop an intuitive understanding of the programming logic.
