The Air Quality Kit for Raspberry Pi consists of a Raspberry Pi Air Quality HAT Board, a gas sensor and a temperature/humidity sensor (Raspberry Pi SBC NOT Included). Air Quality HAT was designed to simplify IoT developments by offering plug-n-play modules through Grove connectors. The TVOC/eCO2 Gas Sensor (based on Sensiron SGP30) is an indoor air quality monitoring sensor. The SGP30 is a digital multi-pixel gas sensor that can detect harmful gases through TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and CO2eq. The Temperature & Humidity Sensor (DHT22) is a high accuracy sensor used in indoor applications. The detecting range of this sensor is 5% RH – 99% RH, temperature range from -40°C to 80°C and its accuracy reaches up to 2% RH and 0.5°C respectively. Setup and programming of this board can be done using Arduino IDE with the support libraries from OKdo to send the sensor data to AllThingsTalk Maker Cloud.
