This clever little device integrates all the necessary hardware with an inbuilt TCP/IP stack to deliver a richly featured 802.11b/g module. Even the configuration is simple via ASCII commands over UART.
The Power Management functionality of the RN171 also make it perfect for portable, battery powered applications, whilst the module comes with a Battery Boost Circuitry and the Sleep Mode consumes only 4µA.
